    • Yes, I did it (went ahead and noted that in the post now for the sake of clarity). It’s watercolor on paper. But no, I have not been there–in fact, haven’t heard of it. Sounds like a place I’d really love, though!

    • I’m so glad you like the painting. Actually, the idea was born in desperation. I was hospitalized with a form of bipolar disorder, very sick, and couldn’t figure out how to explain to my doctors what was happening in my head, so I started doing these snapshots. This particular one was done just after the hospitalization.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog and taking the time to comment! I hope you’ll come back again!

    • I’m glad you think the idea was extraordinary, but truly it was born out of pure desperation. I think it was that sense of helplessness and loss that birthed the idea more than time. I did have time. It’s just that my time was spent trying to survive and stay sane. I really wasn’t trying to be creative. I’m grateful that some of this turned out to be worthwhile artistically, as well, though. It’s interesting how different people see the creative process through the eyes of their own expereince, but then that’s what art is, I guess–a vision seen from a singular perspective that can communicate something meaningful to a larger audience. Thanks so much for stopping by and commenting. I hope you’ll come back–it was great having you!
