Today I’m doing a guest post for one of my all-time favorite bloggers. If you have not read “The Idiot Speaketh” you are missing a comedic genius, one I’m honored to be writing for today.
Thanks to Mark for being such a great friend, and thanks, as well, for the chance to ride on the shirt tails of your masterful blogging success. Mark is currently taking bets on the date he will arrive at 2 million hits.
So hop on over to Mark’s blog, read a few of his hilarious posts, and by all means subscribe to his awesome site. I promise, Mark is one of the most hysterical writers I have ever read. He’s brilliantly funny, and a sweetheart, as well.

Let’s face it. I’m not an Idiot.
I know that Idiocy is all the rage in this particular, North Texas corner of the blogosphere. I know as a guest blogger on this Idiot site, I’d be wise to do as our friend Lisa did and claim to be one—and not just an Idiot, but a super-duper, over-the-top Idiot. I know I’d be wise to insist I had, not only one pink walker with wheels, but two, maybe an entire fleet.
But I’m just not an Idiot. No, I hate to say it— I’m a Freak—an honest-to-goodness, certifiable Freak.
I know. I know. Step back. Take heed, as I am about to introduce you to the orthodoxy of Freakdom, as I live it, and distinguish it, dare I say, freakishly distinguish it from Idiocy.
So take notes. (There’ll be an Idiot quiz at the end.)

Just got here from the Idiot’s blog site. Read your post and LOVED it. You should pair up more often, or start a site “Freak’n’Idiot!” Both of you are such fantastic writers, and I am glad to have found you both. Great stuff.
